Our Wripple marketplace is made up of talented professionals from all different backgrounds. Their shared dedication and passion make all the difference. This month, we are very excited to spotlight Autumn Enoch, PR Consultant.
1. What makes you awesome at your job?
Three things:
- My work ethic is unmatched. Growing up I was taught, "if you're going to do something, give it your all. Whether you're sweeping the floor or delivering a speech, give it 100%." In photography, this translates to finding the perfect shot and aesthetic to suit my client's needs.
- I'm a sponge—completely up to date on PR/media industry news, vertical industry news, and consumer trends across all industries. Much like a sponge, I'm also a chameleon, as every client has different needs, and the beauty of being a freelancer is that I have no single 'company playbook' to stick to—my clients get everything tailor-made.
- My creativity knows no bounds—part of why I stay on top of news, events, and trends is to find new and unique ways to make my clients stand out in the most competitive media and social landscape of all time. You never know when the next great idea for a hotel client will come from a sports team, the stock market, or outer space. So, I keep my creatively-driven brain stimulated by keeping up with it all.
2. What was your favorite client project and why?
An Italian tourism board came to me two weeks before a high-profile chef was hosting an intimate dinner party at her private estate, and they needed me to find the right top-tier media and influencers to invite. Thankfully, the experience was enough of a draw that I filled all 20 spots with fabulous F&B and travel media and influencers with less than two-week's notice, and received more than 500K in social impressions just from the night of the event, plus in-feed Instagram posts and a dedicated Forbes feature, which was a huge added bonus!
3. How do you future-proof your creative career/pursuits in the age of AI?
I never stop learning. As a portfolio careerist, I love to upskill whenever I can. I attend webinars and conferences and pursue certifications for anything I deem important to my industries of expertise, from mastering AI prompts and understanding SEO in PR, to increasing the speed I deliver photos to my clients with new AI photo editing tools. Thus far, AI is a great assistant, but I don't think people can ever be replaced by AI for people-centric work like mine.
4. What are your key project interests?
Photography: Corporate events, engagement photoshoots, pets, portraits, and hotel/restaurant photography
Public Relations: Media Relations, Travel, Hospitality, F&B, wine & spirits, wellness, Brand Strategy, Events, and Activations
