1. Tell us a bit about yourself, what do you do and where are you from?

I’m originally from Philly and relocated to the Atlanta, GA area 15 years ago. Since becoming a dad, most of my hobbies revolve around the kiddos. Activities like pick-up team sports have evolved into family-friendly options like hiking, biking, roller skating, and trampolines. I’ve always been on a computer since first grade. We learned Mac in grade school, and I had a Commodore 64 at home. In high school, I got my first PC and built a website before the .com boom. When I’m not active or cooking up a meal, you will find me punching away on a keyboard, researching new things in AI.

2. What’s a recent project/client win (big or small) that made you feel proud?

Let’s pick one of both. A few years ago, I used a strategy I’ve been nurturing for over a decade to establish a composable mix of platforms for an enterprise digital marketing operation. It is satisfying to look back and see the strategy accomplished its goals and stood the test of time. More recently, I built a content automation leveraging Generative AI, workflow, and human-in-the-loop approval for a small, resource-constrained healthcare operation. It has produced tremendous time savings. Seeing my AI strategies work in production boosts my confidence that I can apply what I’ve been doing in digital marketing and technology for the last 11 years to the latest trends in artificial intelligence.

3. What’s a skill or strength you bring to the team that people might not know about?

People generally view me as the “tech guy” and I’ve received feedback from team members about my ability to simplify complex situations through written materials and engaging presentation. However, for the last 8 years, I’ve also been leaning into something non-technical—relationships, parenting, psychology, and emotional intelligence. In the workplace, it has helped me become a better leader, one that chooses to pursue connection with people over checking corporate boxes.

4. What types of projects energize you the most?

I have seen a lot of technologies come and go in my 25-year career, but I don’t recollect anything quite like Generative AI stirring up the amount of excitement I have right now. The ability to combine deterministic workflows with the probabilistic output of a large language model lets us codify our approach and scale certain types of work while keeping quality and governance in place. That time savings, our number one constraint as humans, frees us up for so many other possibilities.

5. Is there anything else you’d like to share?

Right now, I’m focused on connecting with organizations where I can apply my methods. My background spans technology, sales, marketing, and business leadership. That mix creates a powerful opportunity to ignite growth. Sometimes that growth means supporting a cause. Other times it means marketing a much-needed service or selling an exceptional product. The real fun for me is partnering with people to build something we can be proud of—using skills I’ve worked hard to develop over the years.
